1. Overview

This policy explains what information SkipSeek collects when you use skipseek.com and related services, how we use it, and the choices you have. SkipSeek provides prediction-market data and research; we do not sell your personal data.

2. Information we collect

  • •Account information — your email address and name, and, if you sign in with Google or another provider, the basic profile that provider shares.
  • •Usage and content — watchlists, alerts, preferences, and the markets you view, so we can provide and improve the Service.
  • •Device and log data — IP address, browser type, and timestamps, collected automatically for security and analytics.
  • •Payment information — handled by our processor, Stripe. We receive subscription status and limited billing details; we do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use information

To operate, secure, and improve the Service; to authenticate you and manage your account and subscription; to send transactional messages and any alerts you set; to respond to support requests; to detect abuse; and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences, and may use privacy- respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Service.

5. How we share information

We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf — for example our database and authentication provider (Supabase), payment processor (Stripe), email provider, and hosting/CDN (Cloudflare) — under agreements that limit their use. We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email support@skipseek.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data- protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
